The pluses are close to the interstate, it is quiet, the river side sites are spacious pull thrus and the inside sites are nice. The negatives are there are some permanent travel trailer setups that are not in the best of shape. There is an old Executive class A that is being used as storage unit. 1 channel of TV and the Wi-Fi they claim to have available in the area near the store is awful. For the price we paid I expect to have more than 1 channel and non existent Wi-Fi. Will look for someplace else when we travel to FL. end of October.

We have a large motorhome with a small car in tow and it was tight going around some turns but we made it. The campground is clean. Good places to walk the pets and wonderful place for kids to be kids and ride their bikes, scooters etc.. We used this park as a base for touring. A drive to Shark Valley was an hour away. Hope to return next December.

Clean and quiet campground but not directly off the Interstate. Good walking area for our pets. Sites were good size. To get to the park there was a bit of a drive on a country road. Owners friendly!

The location is easy on/off interstate and short commute into West Fargo and Fargo. The full hookup sites are limited. When we arrived the 12 asphalt pad sites were occupied leaving gravel and grassy sites. There were some sites occupied by small travel trailers setup as permanent homes. A few were rather shabby. We could not find a site that was level with full hookups so we went to water supply filled water tank and selected a site with electric only. There were some sites with electric and water BUT they were uneven, the water pressure was bad and the electric boxes were just plain scary. My 1 visit to the ladies room bathroom was enough. Did quickie showers and used paper plates to conserve water.

Think circle the wagons and you have this campground. Large open gravel lot in the wide open with very strong wind. We rolled in our awnings for fear they would be ripped off. We later found out the strong winds are normal here. We intended to spend 1 night (Sunday) however we encountered a problem with 1 of our tire rims and stayed an additional day to have the rim looked at in town. Owner wasn't grumpy and even suggested the repair shop to take our rig to the following day. He also mentioned a golf course called Marias Valley Golf & Country Club nearby for hubby to play at. A nice course tucked between barren rolling hills. Hubby enjoyed it.

Price is the Golden Age Access card. The CG is beautiful however be very careful when driving due to narrow road and low hanging branches. Nice campground, wildlife such as buffalo and wild horses were around. We planned on staying longer however the campground hosts had their own pet agenda and it became intolerable for us to remain past our 3 days. We have camped in many places with our dogs and never had a pet issue until then. We are very respectful of our fellow campers and always walk our dogs on 6' leads and clean up after them. Our first full day we toured for 6 hours and returned to find a warning from the host for a "potential" problem. We went to the hosts to inquire about the warning (first we ever received and this was our 4th National Park within 3 months we camped in) and what the problem was. They told us there were NO complaints so we were confused and asked for an explanation. They had their agenda and it was not pet friendly. The second day I stayed in the motorhome with the dogs while hubby played golf and the only problem was a family with 3 dogs that they allowed to run loose and pick fights with other dogs. When another camper reported the loose dog problem the ranger appeared and spoke with the offending family. He then informed me that if we intended to attend the Medora show the following evening we had to break camp and go to the show in our 35' motorhome with the dogs. We had $100 invested in show tickets and no refund policy so off we went to the show. We left the following day.

We left beautiful and quiet Whistlers Campground in Jasper National Park and entered railroad hell. We were located in the row farthest from the tracks but it didn't make a difference. The sites are set-up to accommodate 2 rigs per site and it is very tight. Once our dining slide went out we could have passed the Grey Poupon mustard to our neighbor. On the plus there is a very nice walking path that runs along the stream in back and it is a good location to tour Banff and surrounding areas. We saw everything we wanted & had enough of the trains to depart a day early.

This is the most beautiful campground we have stayed in. Waking up our first morning to see the Elk bedded down near our motorhome was a treat. There is plenty of room between sites and a great place to walk & clean up after your dogs. The only problem we had was the blow over smoke from the camp sites that allowed a campfire the first 2 nights of our stay. Great location to tour from.

Would be a 10 if there was a laundry area on the grounds. Just a short commute into Stewart & Hyder. Great location and good folks run the park. Park itself is shaded, grass with gravel sites. It is very clean and quiet. I would highly recommend staying at this park.

The price reflects the Golden Pass Discount. We reserved a site for our 35' motorhome however when we arrived mid afternoon we found most of the longer sites were once again occupied by smaller rigs that could easily have fit in sites not as long. On the plus side the campground was very clean and quiet and the Wi-Fi reception at the office worked well. The Riley Creek mercantile is very expensive. It seemed everything was twice the normal price so bring what you feel you will need for food. We are self contained but I did look at the shower prices and felt they were expensive. Overall we enjoyed our camping experience.

This campground is absolutely beautiful! Surrounded by mountains, glaciers. It would have a 10 if w/e hookups and a dump station were available. There is water but you must hand pump it into jugs and carry them off to your site. There are NO showers but I had to indicate an answer regarding showers. The sites are spacious and wooded so there is no lack of privacy. The sites are either single or double. There are several drive through sites that allow larger rigs to use the cg. While we were there the AK. national bird, the mosquito, was out in force so bring bug spray.

Sites are not wide or long. We had to park our car across the campground road in the boat storage area. The online website states Wi-Fi however we could not get connected. On the plus side it is a short walk to town and the surrounding mountains are beautiful.

Good location to stop at on the way to Denali. Campground is a large gravel lot with hookups. There are a few permanent setups that are on the shabby side. It was not busy when we were there so we had the pick of locations. Extra $2 charge for dogs. WI-FI was available in the office only. Easy commute from campground to shopping, restaurants.

Nice location, clean and quiet. They do have a pet charge. Several grassy spots to walk Fido. A good halfway stop on the way from Anchorage to Denali. 20 miles to Talkeetna.

This is a first come first serve campground for Active Duty, Retirees, DOD & NAF Civilians only. 44 of the sites are full hookups. Rates are determined by rank. Most sites have trees that provide either partial or full shade. If all sites are taken there is a dry camping location that will easily accommodate at least 8 rigs. To say this campground is awesome is an understatement. Wildlife abounds, you are a short drive to Anchorage to tour around, discount tickets available on base for various excursions, motorized & non-motorized boats for rent and for the golfer there are 2 different courses, The Hill Course and the Creek Course at Moose Run make-up the World's Northernmost 36-hole golf course. Husband played both and saw moose on the Hill course. He completely enjoyed both the sites and courses.Fort Richardson and Elmendorf are connected so you can eat like a king at the Air Force Iditarod dining facility. Camp hosts were outstanding. Unless you are a very late sleeper (11AM) you will see and hear the Air Force jets going through maneuvers. That was a thrill for us to see. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay

This is a campground opened to active/retired military & DoD Civilians and the rate is based on your grade. The facility offers discounts on fishing & scenic day tours out of Seward. The sites are very close together to say the least. When you reserve you are not assigned a site until you arrive HOWEVER when we arrived the site we received was too narrow to open our slides and we requested the wider vacant site 2 up from us. We were refused & told they were already taken. We stated their policy of assigning a site upon arrival but it seems a retired officer was leading a SMART tour and he was able to "cherry pick" the sites for his group prior to arrival. The woman at the desk said she had no control over this situation. We were given another site that was still tight but at least we were able to put our slides out. This campground was OK for 2 days.

We were here for 3 nights and our site was decent however we did have road noise from the interstate. It is located next to the visitors center so you are able to get tourist information. Also at the V/C is the trolley and for $10 you can take a tour of the historic parts of Butte. The only negative is the laundry. 5-6 washers worked HOWEVER out of 6 dryers only 2 worked. When 2 of us went to the office to report the problem we were informed the owner was aware but it may be too costly to repair. This was not impressive.

This campground is for hard sided campers only; the sites are close together. We were in a smaller loop on an end site so we only had 1 neighbor with the other side facing the road. There are pine trees between some sites but not all. As for shade not much. There are about 7-8 loops with the largest loop at the end of the entry road. We were there a week and the mosquito's were out in force early afternoon so bring bug spray. There are 2 coyotes running around the loops also. Laundry is expensive with both washers and dryers front loaders. Wash $1.50 dry $1.25. If your rig lacks a shower or you cannot use it a shower will set you back $3.25 per person. There is no wifi but I was told it is under consideration for next year. Currently only the summer help staying in the dorms at the lodge have wifi. Cell phones do not work in cg either. We were told if you drive 20 minutes from the lodge near the lake there is a location that your cell will work. We enjoyed staying in the park but it is expensive.

The location isn't far from the main attractions and for the price not bad. Our site was close to the road so we did have traffic noise. Due to heavy rain we did not walk around the park to look at other sites. From our site we did see several permanent mobil homes but for the most part they are clean. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The addition of cable & wifi would be nice.

Park is very clean, easy to navigate large rigs with tow vehicles and adequate room between sites.Park has wifi but still no cable therefor a 9.Laundry costs are $2 for a wash and .50 for 10 minutes of dryer time.We stayed 2 nights.

Very clean campground. Would have earned 10 if there were some shade, but you can't have everything. The laundry room was very clean. There was vacant land next to the campground where we walked our dogs and cleaned up after them.

Peter D is a great guy! His suggestion for a restaurant to have dinner was excellent. The wifi worked well which was nice. If our vacation plans had allowed we would have stayed on another day. Easy on/off the interstate. Will stay again if we are ever in the area.

What a dump! If I could give it a -10 I would. The only good thing is easy access to Highway 2 but then you get the road noise. We reserved a full hookup site but what was left the previous motorhome's jack sunk in the ground so we took an electric/water site with plans to use dump site the following A.M. The front and back roads were both rutted and filled with water. Areas where roads were dry dust blew off them. Several sites setup as fulltime and not the best. The following A.M. we pulled out to dump and it was filled to the brim with human waste on the ground!Reported it to the office and had to dump at an open site. This is also a Good Sam place. Think they need to check these places more before a logo is handed out.

Easy to get to. At the confluence of 2 rivers but you will hear boat noise. During our stay a jet boat kept roaring by and it was deafening. The park is clean but the issue was the site assigned to us and the price. We asked for a full service site and there was 1 left with the rest electric/water or no hookups. The full service site was a mess. The utility box sat in the middle of a huge puddle and there was no way to get around it. Somehow standing in water hooking up electric didn't seem to be a prudent idea. Tried to position MH over and the wheels sunk 9 inches in so we got out of site. Husband went to office to request another site and was assigned one with electric & water. Owner would not refund so much a dollar and claimed all the sites cost the same.

WONDERFUL!!Check-in a breeze and received a beautiful pull-through site with shade. Only different thing was sewer on 1 side & rest of hookups on other but it worked. WiFi superb. They have dinner and breakfast and we had the dinner (Native American tacos) with dessert for $18 and it was delicious. I would suggest this KOA to anyone who wants to tour the Badlands for several days. Only drawback is it is not near shopping to restock on food.

The staff was very friendly and efficient in the check-in process. I made the reservation on line indicating a 35' motorhome towing and it has slides and was assigned a back in site with water & electric. Had the confirmation sheet showing above information so it was not my error. The price was $29.41. When we arrived they said the site would not be big enough and assigned us a back site along hwy (yes there is noise)and it was $14 more hence the $43 charge which I thought was a bit high. Anyway we stayed the night. It is clean and easy on off access but still feel price was high.

This place is a mosquito feeding ground to say the least. We arrived early afternoon and became living buffets for the things! While the folks are friendly and laid back about the check-in process the place is between a swamp and a fishing hole. Most of the sites are filled with permanent travel trailers & fifth wheels however there were only a few that had people using them. There is a dump station on the way out but that is it for sewer. As for pull through there are only 2-3 sites and our 35.5-foot MH just fit; anything larger, no way. Would suggest staying at Wally World before going here.

When the state fair is not going on there are over 1800 sites available. It is a beautiful location on the hill overlooking the fairgrounds and not too far from the interstates. The entrance to the campground is through the fairground which appears to be a small town setting. There is golf nearby, shopping etc. With our motorhome antenna we were able to bring in 3 stations however for WiFi we had to go to the local library. We would stay here again.

I took a guess at the number of sites however I am not sure. This campground is a bit of a drive off the interstate to get to therefor we will opt for another location closer to the interstate. Many sites are either occupied by fifth wheel units or travel trailers setup for permanent weekend use. As for full hookups there appeared to be only 3 available.

We reserved our site online with no problems. Online site is very helpful as you can view the site and the informations for each such as full sun, shade, length of site. We found this very helpful. The bathrooms were immaculate. Outside the fence surrounding the campground was a herd of roaming buffalo. This state park is awesome with so many beautiful areas to tour and the animal life is wonderful. 1 of our tour days we encountered the 2 separate herds of wild begging burros who LOVE junk food. We were in CSP for 7 days and used it as a base to tour the Wild Horse Sanctuary, surrounding towns. Would return in a heartbeat. There are informational shows in the barn however we were too busy touring around to attend any. If you go allow enough time to truly enjoy this park and the surrounding areas. The only reason a 9 is no full hookups. There is a dump station with water if you run low.

We were assigned site 108 and the noise from the highway is constant and loud 24 hours. If you stay here avoid sites 106-108, 211-213, 311 and 312 and 411 & 412 for this reason. The closer to the office you get the less noise. There are some permanent campers set-up in this park and for the most part are a bit on the shabby side. The section in back of us is a storage area with campers in various state, some decent and some old with flat tires etc..When we return to tour Amish Country later this year we will not stay here. They are pet friendly and have a large grassy sloped area to walk the dogs.

This is a hidden gem. It is very quiet and all sites are spacious. We stayed in the older section and it was somewhat level. When we return we will opt for section B, the newer section, where the sites are paved and more level than the A section. We travel with our dogs and this is a wonderful campground to go with them. The location is wonderful for day trips to Richmond or if you just want to go to Chesterfield for a meal. Our cell phones worked for outgoing and incoming calls. There is a dump station at the entrance/exit of the campground entrance. As for television we were able to pull in 3 stations. We will return
